Salted Caramel Bliss Balls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Salted Caramel Bliss Balls

01 - 210 g Medjool dates, pitted
02 - 100 g almond flour
03 - 2 tablespoons desiccated coconut, unsweetened
04 - 0.5 teaspoon sea salt flakes
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ For Rolling

06 - 2 tablespoons desiccated coconut, unsweetened

# Instructions:

01 - Wash and thoroughly dry the Medjool dates. Remove the pits and measure the required amount after pitting.
02 - Roughly chop the pitted dates and place in a food processor with almond flour, desiccated coconut, sea salt flakes, and vanilla extract.
03 - Blend until the mixture is smooth and begins to come together. If the consistency is too dry to form balls, add an additional date or two and blend again.
04 - Place the extra desiccated coconut into a shallow bowl. Roll the mixture into small, even balls, then roll each ball in the coconut to coat.
05 - Transfer the bliss balls to an airtight container and refrigerate.

# Notes:

01 - Use only fresh, soft Medjool dates for optimal texture and natural sweetness; dried dates are unsuitable.
02 - If the mixture does not bind easily, adding a couple of extra dates can help achieve the right consistency.
03 - Bliss balls can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to five days or frozen for up to one month.
04 - Sea salt flakes provide a balanced saltiness—start with a smaller amount and adjust to taste.
