Strawberry Goat Cheese Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Salad

01 - 400 g fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
02 - 80 g mixed arugula, watercress, and spinach leaves
03 - 75 g goat cheese, crumbled or sliced
04 - 25 g walnuts, roughly chopped
05 - 1 red onion, thinly sliced

→ Dressing

06 - 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
07 - 2 tsp Dijon mustard
08 - 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
09 - 1 tsp white wine vinegar
10 - Salt, to taste
11 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - In a small bowl, whisk together extra-virgin olive oil, Dijon mustard, maple syrup, and white wine vinegar until fully combined. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
02 - Place the arugula, watercress, and spinach leaves into a large serving bowl.
03 - Scatter sliced strawberries and red onion over the greens. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts evenly.
04 - Add the crumbled or sliced goat cheese throughout the salad.
05 - Drizzle the prepared dressing over the salad just before serving. Gently toss to coat all ingredients evenly.
06 - Present immediately while fresh.

01 - For added texture, lightly toast the walnuts before using. Adjust sweetness in the dressing to taste by varying maple syrup.
