Baked Greek Shrimp Skillet (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined

02 - 28 ounces canned crushed tomatoes (fire-roasted or regular)
03 - 1 cup Kalamata olives, pitted and sliced
04 - ¼ white onion, chopped
05 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
06 - ½ cup crumbled feta cheese

→ Seasonings

07 - 2 teaspoons dried dill
08 - 1 teaspoon oregano
09 - ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
10 - Salt to taste
11 - Black pepper to taste
12 - Fresh dill for garnish (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
02 - Add olive oil to hot skillet. Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic until tender, about 1-2 minutes.
03 - Add crushed tomatoes, dried dill, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 10-11 minutes until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
04 - Stir in olives. Arrange shrimp on top of sauce, pushing them slightly into the mixture. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then sprinkle feta cheese over everything.
05 - Transfer skillet to preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until shrimp are cooked through.
06 - Switch oven to broil and cook for 1-2 minutes until cheese is melty.
07 - Garnish with fresh dill if desired. Serve immediately with warm bread or over rice.
