Brown Butter Maple Glazed Carrots (Print Version)

01 - 1 pound carrots
02 - 2 tablespoons butter
03 - 1⁄4 cup maple syrup
04 - 1 clove garlic, minced
05 - 2 sprigs fresh thyme, for garnish
06 - Salt and pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Wash and dry carrots, then cut them diagonally into 1⁄2-inch slices. Place cut carrots in a bowl and set aside.
03 - Heat butter in a pot over medium heat. Whisk continuously until butter bubbles and turns golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Add maple syrup and minced garlic, whisking to combine.
04 - Pour half of the brown butter maple sauce over the carrots and toss to coat. Spread carrots on prepared baking sheet in a single layer and season with salt and pepper. Roast for 15-20 minutes or until tender when pierced with a fork.
05 - Drizzle remaining sauce over the roasted carrots or serve it on the side. Garnish with fresh thyme sprigs before serving.
