Cheesy Garlic Cruffin (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 3 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent roll sheets

→ Filling

02 - 1⁄2 cup (1 stick/113g) unsalted butter, softened
03 - 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
04 - 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
05 - 3 cups (339g) mild cheddar cheese, shredded

→ Garlic Butter Topping

06 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
08 - 1 teaspoon chives, finely chopped
09 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 12-cup muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray. On a lightly floured surface, roll each tube of dough into a 12x16-inch rectangle.
02 - Mix softened butter, chives, and garlic in a medium bowl until well combined.
03 - Spread one-third of the butter mixture over each sheet of dough, then sprinkle with 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Starting from the long edge, roll each sheet tightly into a log.
04 - Cut each log in half, then cut each half lengthwise to create four sections. You'll have 12 sections total. Roll each section, layered side out, into a spiral shape.
05 - Place each spiral into the prepared muffin tin. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
06 - While baking, whisk together melted butter, garlic, chives, and salt. Brush this mixture over the warm cruffins when they come out of the oven.

# Notes:

01 - If using perforated crescent rolls, pinch seams to seal
02 - Best served warm right from the oven
03 - Can be reheated in microwave for 15-20 seconds
