Easy Shrimp Scampi (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pasta Base

01 - 8 ounces linguine
02 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

→ Main Components

03 - 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
04 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

→ Sauce & Seasonings

06 - 1/4 cup white wine (or chicken stock)
07 - 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
08 - 1 tablespoon lemon zest
09 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
10 - Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste
11 - 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan

# Instructions:

01 - Cook linguine in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain well when done.
02 - Melt butter in a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes until shrimp turns pink.
03 - Add wine and lemon juice to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes until slightly reduced. Remove from heat.
04 - Add cooked pasta, lemon zest, and parsley to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot topped with Parmesan cheese.
