01 -
In a large bowl, combine the cleaned and rinsed chicken breasts with olive oil and seasonings (sea salt, All-Purpose Blend, and smoked paprika). Mix everything thoroughly until the chicken is fully coated with the seasoning mixture.
02 -
Place the seasoned chicken breasts on a clean cutting board. Using a sharp knife, cut small slits across the top of each breast, spacing them about 1-inch apart. This helps the chicken cook evenly and allows the sauce to penetrate deeper.
03 -
For best flavor, place the seasoned chicken in a sealed ziplock bag and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or preferably overnight. When ready to cook, allow the chicken to sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before baking.
04 -
In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Stir in the honey, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, chili powder, and salt. Continue stirring until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
05 -
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, or use an oven-safe skillet if preferred. Arrange the seasoned chicken breasts on the prepared sheet, leaving some space between each piece.
06 -
Spoon half of the hot honey sauce over the chicken breasts, reserving the remainder for later. Make sure to coat each piece generously with the sauce.
07 -
Place the chicken in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown on the outside and fully cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C).
08 -
Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Spoon the remaining hot honey sauce over the chicken breasts before serving. Pair with your favorite sides like salad, pasta, or rice for a complete meal.
