Hot Honey Peach Wings (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Wing Ingredients

01 - 3 lbs. chicken wings
02 - 1 tsp. paprika
03 - ½ tsp. garlic powder
04 - Salt to taste
05 - Oil for frying

→ Sauce Ingredients

06 - 4 Tbsp. butter
07 - 2 tsp. minced garlic
08 - ¼ C. hot sauce
09 - 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
10 - ½ C. peach preserves

# Instructions:

01 - Heat a deep fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. If you don't have a deep fryer, you can use a large, deep pot filled with about 2-3 inches of oil.
02 - In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with paprika, garlic powder, and salt until evenly coated. Set aside while you prepare the sauce.
03 - In a medium pot over medium heat, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic. Add the hot sauce, soy sauce, and peach preserves to the pot. Cook the mixture for approximately 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens into a syrupy consistency.
04 - Carefully place the seasoned chicken wings into the hot oil, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding. Fry for 12-15 minutes until the wings are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
05 - Remove the fried wings from the oil using a slotted spoon or tongs, and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Allow them to drain for about 30 seconds.
06 - Transfer the hot wings to a large mixing bowl, pour the hot honey peach sauce over them, and toss until all wings are well coated. Serve immediately while still hot for the best flavor and texture.

# Notes:

01 - For a milder version, reduce the amount of hot sauce or opt for a less spicy variety.
02 - These wings can also be baked instead of fried for a healthier option. Bake at 425°F for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
03 - The sauce can be made ahead of time and reheated when ready to use.
