Ravioli Soup (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
02 - 1 medium yellow onion, diced (about 1 cup)
03 - ½ pound ground beef
04 - ½ pound ground Italian sausage
05 - 1 tablespoon garlic, minced

→ Seasonings

06 - 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
07 - 2 teaspoons kosher salt
08 - 2 teaspoons ground black pepper

→ Liquids & Sauces

09 - 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
10 - 4 cups (32 ounces) beef broth
11 - 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
12 - ½ cup heavy cream

→ Cheeses & Pasta

13 - 1 bag (25 ounces) frozen cheese ravioli
14 - 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
15 - ½ cup romano cheese, shredded
16 - ½ cup parmesan cheese, shredded, plus more for garnish

→ Garnish

17 - Fresh parsley, chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
02 - Add onions, ground beef, Italian sausage, and garlic. Cook until meat is no longer pink (8-10 minutes), breaking up meat as you go. Drain excess grease if necessary.
03 - Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
04 - Pour in marinara sauce, beef broth, and crushed tomatoes. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
05 - Add ravioli and cook for 4-6 minutes, or until done, stirring occasionally to avoid breaking the ravioli.
06 - Reduce heat to low. Add heavy cream and all cheeses, stirring until fully melted.
07 - Garnish with parsley and additional parmesan cheese as desired.
